Site specific intervention in abandoned factory located in the industrial area of Barcelona, Spain.
"The factory, the pacha mama, the mother, the woman and the struggle, the history, the proletarian past exchanged for inflated rental flats, the triumph of banking interest and its gorgeous real estate machine".
"Seeing is believing" said Saint Thomas (Beautiful painting by Caravaggio), who to believe must have put his fingers in the sore of the revived; Thus the story begins, where the real estate brightness and its mirrors overshadow the latent historical past of each city in the world; Placing then the specific site intervention as an opportunity to relive the history, choosing for this a "Negative Space", which consists of a missing beam in the floor of the first level of the factory, space of feminine character (conceptual and symbolically spoken) revived by light and its reflected projection, electricity and light consequently, as an act of life that reanimate this place in complete lack of fertility.
A living and present wound that reminds us a forgotten historical past.
